COGNICA has recently been awarded a project by Morgan Sindall (Construction) to manage the delivery of the Building manuals, comprising the O&M documents and H&S File, for Wigan Joint Service Centre.
The construction project consists of a new public services building complex in Wigan on behalf of the Council. The project comprises two main parts, the North site holds the library and public service facilities whilst the South site is based on a leisure and office development and features a swimming pool.
The project started on site in July and both sites are moving towards the end of the demolition phase. Final completion for the complex is expected at the end of 2011. COGNICA are contracted to deliver separate manuals for the North and South sites.
